Meet founder, Linda Mehnert
As the founder of Sunseed Talent, I bring over 15 years of global Talent Acquisition experience, partnering with companies ranging from seed-stage startups to global enterprises, primarily in the tech sector. I’ve successfully recruited across industries and functions from product and marketing to channels, engineering, and executive leadership, with a focus on building and enhancing scalable, human-centered recruiting systems.
My path into this work began with a passion for humanitarian efforts, social impact, and a purpose-driven mindset. I’ve navigated adversity, resilience, and growth firsthand - experiences that have shaped how I build partnerships, lead with intention, and design hiring systems that are both effective and inclusive. As a former classically trained singer, I bring a sense of discipline, listening, and nuance into everything I do.
Outside of work, I’m a mother of two and a lifelong learner. My personal growth has been shaped by reconnecting with my passion for the arts, experiencing diverse cultures, and studying embodiment practices, somatic healing, and various holistic disciplines. These experiences have taught me to trust my intuition, stay grounded in nature, and lead with clarity.

Sunseed Talent was founded during a pivotal time of transition, shaped by personal reflection, professional reinvention, and a desire to realign my purpose and impact. After reaching many of my personal goals in the corporate world, I found myself searching for what was next - what felt truly aligned. What began as a response to unexpected career shifts evolved into a process of rebranding myself, stepping into my authenticity, and redefining what meaningful work looks like. From that place, I built a mission-driven practice focused on elevating both individuals and organizations.
Rooted in my Japanese cultural heritage, the Enso circle symbolizes wholeness and interconnectedness, principles that continue to guide the heart of this work. Like a sunflower reaching for the light, Sunseed reflects the growth and potential within each of us.
